Swiss Belhotel Doha

Reya Karim and Aruel were attentive, and the service crew were polite and helpful. The buffet food was fresh and delicious, and the chefs did a good job. The hotel has a clean, friendly feel, close to the metro station and other establishments.

I was here for quarantine from 06 to 08 Jan 2022. The room was spacious and neat, and the staff were courteous and quick to respond. I asked for a few extra things and got them within five minutes. The room was also ready quickly. At a well-known five-star hotel where I stayed before, I'd booked well in advance but still had to wait and literally argue to get my room. Nothing to say about the food here, since I heard it isn't great at quarantine hotels anywhere, so I have no complaint. Thanks to the staff of Swiss Belhotel.

We booked three days and two nights but decided to leave early because this didn't feel like a place to relax and enjoy the amenities. The hotel was under renovation, but guests hadn't been told and there was no notice on the website. The reception also seemed unprepared to exchange small bills. The pool was very dirty, and though the room was quite big, it wasn't very clean. The furniture was old, the telephone didn't work at all, and the Wi-Fi was extremely unstable.

The food was delicious and the staff were so friendly. We stayed one night in a roomy suite with twin beds and sofas, and the view was good. The bathroom was in keeping with the rest of the suite, though I wish it had been cleaner.
