The Ritz-Carlton, Doha

We came to Qatar for the first time to celebrate our anniversary and take a short break. The Ritz Carlton gave us a good experience, even though there are a few things that could be better. The breakfast buffet was good, the rooms were nice, the view was stunning, and staff were welcoming and helpful with everything from check-in and dining to special requests and housekeeping. It was busy over Eid, and the pool and beach felt small with around 95% occupancy. They also closed a bit earlier than usual, and the elevators could get crowded. We could hear people outside and furniture moving or heels walking in nearby rooms, which made it hard to sleep, so we used white noise. The free internet was a little slow and needed reconnecting each day. Since there were lots of children and the kids club is small, a covered outdoor playground in the garden might be a good addition.

We were only there for one night and arrived late, but the experience was phenomenal throughout. Maria deserves a special thank you. The kids wanted more time to enjoy the facilities, and she helped extend our stay so they could make the most of it. Her kindness and hospitality made a real difference. Highly recommend!

Our honeymoon stay at The Ritz-Carlton Doha was one of the best hotel experiences we’ve had. Hamza and Maryam were especially kind, professional, and attentive, and their thoughtful touch of decorating the room with balloons and petals made the occasion feel even more special. The whole staff made us feel welcome, even greeting us throughout our two-day stay after the warm check-in. We loved the breakfast and facilities, and the Doha skyline views were stunning. The location was perfect, and dinner at B-Lounge Doha was delicious. Every part of the stay exceeded our expectations, and we can’t wait to return.

The spa offers a deeply luxurious wellness experience, and the restaurants each have their own distinct character, making dining a real highlight. The property is grand, from the palatial architecture to the lavish interiors and their attention to detail. The rooms and suites are exceptionally luxurious, with premium furnishings and stunning bathrooms. Staff are impeccably trained and genuinely keen to exceed expectations. Every detail seems carefully considered. For luxury hospitality in Qatar, it stands in a league of its own. Truly magnificent.
