Tulip Inn Sainte Clotilde La Reunion

Most of the staff were friendly and courteous, and the hotel is conveniently close to the airport. The rooms are decent, but several things went wrong: the light kept flickering, and although a technician checked it after we reported it, nothing was done and it stayed that way. The air conditioner leaked water, and nearby children made constant noise that was disruptive. Room service was disappointing too. I asked for a few items and was told to pick them up at reception.

Free parking was a plus, and the room was spacious and tastefully adequate, though it needs maintenance and isn’t luxurious. This is similar to an Ibis in mainland France, a useful choice if you need somewhere not too far from the airport after a late arrival or before an early flight. Its very functional location is the main draw, so I wouldn’t choose it for a vacation. With that caveat, I gave the location 4 stars.

The service and rooms are excellent, and the location is really good. I’ve stayed in different hotels in Reunion republic a couple of times, and here you can find almost everything just a few minutes away. It’s a great place for a vacation and I really recommend it, even though the price is very high.

My first stay here was really nice and peaceful. Everyone was polite, humble, and caring, from reception through room service, and the hospitality was incredible. Thank you all for looking after me so kindly. I’d definitely recommend the hotel and will certainly visit again.
