I was there in January, when it dropped to -12 degrees Celsius overnight. The only heating was the air conditioning set to 24 degrees, but the room never got above 18-19. There was no heat in the bathroom at all.

The Owner and staff were so friendly and helpful, and the hospitality made the stay lovely. It felt warm, clean, and cozy. I loved being there, and it will definitely stay a favorite place for me. Thank you.

There’s plenty of room for parking, and it’s definitely worth staying here with a partner or a group of friends.

The garden was a lovely quiet spot to sit in the sunshine, and the hosts made us feel more like friends than hotel guests. They were welcoming and made sure we had what we needed. We stayed at Elma Guesthouse in Alba Iulia over Easter, and had a wonderful time. Our room was roomy and clean, with a comfortable bed and modern bathroom. The handmade woodwork, very clean space, and complimentary toiletries were nice details. We had a fantastic stay and would recommend Elma Guesthouse to anyone visiting Alba Iulia.

The breakfast was great, and the fortress is an easy walk away. The beds were very comfortable, and the clean, modern rooms have a rustic feel from the solid wood furniture.
