Zeha Apart Hotel

Breakfast had plenty to choose from, though nothing really stood out. The rooms are clean and decent, but fairly ordinary, and there are no balconies. You can tell the hotel is older from some of the room details, even though it’s generally well kept. It’s officially a four-star place, but to me it felt like a solid three-star. Fine if you’re not looking for luxury.

I was hoping to order from the room because I had work to do, and the food menu in the flyer looked good. But the room phone wasn’t working, and when I called the front desk on my cell, no one picked up within five minutes. I went downstairs to eat instead. The receptionist didn’t seem busy, so I asked about the phones. She said they were fine. I explained that I couldn’t order from the room and that nobody had answered the front desk phone. She said she’d heard it ring but had a customer. I didn’t ask why she hadn’t called me back. The room phone was still out of order the next day.

Everything was perfect while I was there. Such a great hotel, and the staff were wonderful, especially the woman at reception!

The reception team were very kind, and the cleaning ladies were helpful and sociable. The room itself was quite acceptable for a three-star place, apart from the evening smell in room 420. It smelled like a **** coming up from the sewer, odd for a fourth-floor room. I’d paid for a three-star room with a double bed, but was given a twin room and couldn’t switch that day. I was also charged extra for bringing my partner. I could understand the fee in general, but given the staff’s organizational mistake, I felt it could have been waived. Those two nights were disappointing, and I’ll avoid the hotel for the near future.
