I’ve returned a few times and can see things getting better with each visit. There’s still plenty that could be done for visitors and comfort, but the lakeside setting out on the Câmpia Română makes for a relaxing stay. I’d invite people to give it a try at least once as an alternative to the seaside.
Most people seem to come for the medical treatments or to visit nearby Amara lake. I’d booked mainly to use the pool, but it was being renovated. The hotel has three stars and a rather communist-era feel.
For a low price, it’s good value. The place is clean, and the staff are friendly. Pretty good for a three-star hotel.
This is a treatment hotel, so it seems like I’ll only find older people here!
