Casa Motului B&B

There’s plenty to do in the area, and the restaurant food was really tasty. I stayed in a separate duplex, which was very clean and had a super comfortable mattress and everything I needed. The owner and his family are charming, and the service was really nice. It’s the best hotel I’ve stayed at in Romania, and I’d totally recommend it. 😁

We had dinner there and were impressed by the generous portions, warm hospitality, and great flavors. The beef soup, goulash, pickles, and traditional pie were all excellent. We warmly recommend the restaurant!

Casa Motului in Arieseni makes a lovely peaceful retreat for anyone who enjoys nature. The mountain scenery is stunning, the rooms are cozy, and the staff are incredibly friendly. We also found the food delicious and the hospitality warm. It feels like an authentic getaway.

We came from Canada to spend the winter holidays with our families and booked the 2026 New Year’s Eve package at Casa Motului, Arieseni. We had four wonderful days and enjoyed every moment. The hosts, Marina and Andrei, gave us a warm welcome, and we appreciated the relaxing vacation and friendly chats. Nicu took great care of us in the restaurant, where the homemade food was delicious. Our rooms were very clean and decorated beautifully in a vintage style. We also used the sauna and hot tubs (ciubăr), set in gorgeous winter surroundings. The New Year’s Eve party was fantastic, with great music from the DJ, a good variety and quality of food, and traditional surprises planned by the hosts. The horse ride and bonfire were lovely unexpected treats for hotel guests. We highly recommend Casa Motului for a winter or summer vacation!
