Hotel Premier

The beds and breakfast were good, but I'm not sure this deserves four stars. We know the problem was just in our room, but there was a bad smell coming from the toilet pipes. Sometimes the shower water looked rusty, and bottled water is a better choice than tap water.

We asked for a refund, but the receptionist and owner refused and offered another room of similarly mediocre quality, which we went to see after wasting a lot of time. I can't understand the four-star rating and hope it gets reviewed. The room had stains on the wall, initials cut into the table with what looked like a knife, glasses stuck to the table, and a hole in the wardrobe. The outlet looked dangerous to use, the hairdryer was filthy, and there was dust in the bathtub. The supposed air conditioning was yellow, perhaps dating from the 90s, with brown marks across the air pipes that looked like excrement. On top of that, nearby rooms were an openly accessible construction site, with materials in the hallway and dirty shoes inside the rooms and bathrooms. One of the worst experiences I've had at a place calling itself a four-star hotel.

The owner wouldn't reimburse us, and the rooms were unsanitary. Someone had carved into the table, and the hairdryer looked older than me. The open construction areas made the hotel seem like a construction site itself. On the second floor, the hallway had a construction ladder, with dirt and dust all over the floor. I'm not sure how this got four stars; it barely deserves two. A horrible experience and a waste of time and money.

We enjoyed the evening meal, which was excellent quality and good value. The staff were attentive and friendly, and the clean reception area felt welcoming. Our Junior Suite for one night was lovely, but it got very hot without air conditioning. Still, it was a very good hotel.
