The owners seem well intentioned, and there's a beautiful river nearby, which earns the place three stars from me. But improvements are still underway, and you might get a better room in the finished guesthouse. I wasn't so lucky: no towels, soap, shampoo, or drinking glasses, and the kitchen wasn't equipped. The outdoor area wasn't landscaped, and parking was on gravel and dirt. There was plenty more missing, too.

We only planned to stay one night, then ended up adding two more days. It’s a fairly new resort run by a very kind family. They make fantastic dinners and breakfasts if you ask for them, and places in nature like balea lake and cascade are easy to reach. You really do feel at home here. Highly recommended!
