We came here just to eat. The food was good and arrived quickly, though the dining area had only a couple of round tables with about eight chairs apiece. There was a cigar smell in there.

We spent four days here at the start of June, and it was a lovely place to stay. Even with the heat outside, the rooms stayed cool and were very cozy for sleeping. Across the street, there's a meadow leading to the forest, absolutely beautiful, and a huge yard with wooden tables and benches in the shade. Kids can use the swings, trampoline and other facilities out there. The owners were welcoming and helpful, and they have a playful dog. Some friends of ours were able to bring their own dog, too. The location is superb, the people are wonderful and hospitable, and the food is great. I'd recommend it to anyone looking for somewhere quiet to recharge.

The food is traditional, tasty and served in generous portions, and the hosts are helpful. The place is quiet, clean and kid friendly, though it's quite isolated and not especially stylish. We had a good time relaxing with friends over a backyard barbeque. There are also some great sightseeing spots nearby, and a cute, friendly dog on site.
