We stayed just one night with our children, including a two-year-old, and couldn’t get much rest. It was very hot, so we had to leave the windows open, but several people in the garden were talking loudly and drinking. My daughter couldn’t sleep. I called reception and was told they’d be leaving soon, but an hour later they were still there. I wouldn’t recommend this place if you need a good night’s rest.

We ended up moving to another hotel because we couldn’t stay here. The place smelled awful, the glasses were unwashed, and there was rubbish and food on the floor. The sheets were dirty too, with hair and boogers on them. Just horrible.

We were in a hurry and only needed somewhere for the night. Arriving at 10 pm, we got a warm welcome. The building does look a little old.

A friendly, good value option in Baia Mare. It’s pretty cheap too.
