Casa Soarelui

We’ll happily come back. The host was so welcoming, and being this close to the beach was great. In the evening, we could sit out on the balcony and look at the sea. A pleasant stay.

We finished a wonderful stay at Casa Soarelui on July 19, 2024. The owners are kind, attentive, and welcoming, and the place is just a short walk from the beach. Our room had a private bathroom, and the air conditioning worked perfectly. Everything was excellent. I saw a review mentioning a restriction at 9:00 pm, but that isn’t true. The guesthouse has a security system, and you get an access card so you can come and go at any time. I’d gladly return and highly recommend it.

The garden is gorgeous, with a large terrace, and the room was bright and airy. It was also very quiet, just right for getting some rest. The location is close to the beach, clean, and felt safe. Our host was special, welcoming but discreet, and very attentive to what guests needed. We had an extraordinary stay!

The room smelled very stuffy, the air conditioning seemed nonexistent, and hot water was only there now and then. I had to ask for cleaning because it looked as if the room hadn't been cleaned before I arrived. There was a Măgura wrapper under the bed, spiders, and a cockroach in the bathroom door frame. They removed the cockroach and webs, then stopped. The cleaner also touched the toilet lid with the broom they use everywhere, so I had to disinfect everything myself, even though that should have been their job. Far too much money for these “conditions”.
