Aqua President

The outdoor pools were nice, but the indoor area smelled strongly, apparently from the restaurant. It was very crowded, and the spa services felt old-fashioned. The tubes were worn and the water flow was weak, so getting down the slides was a struggle.

We came for the spa and found a pleasant spot to sit in the sun and enjoy thermal water at just the right temperature. The massage is well worth trying. Since it was off-season, some pools, an entire wing, and a few shops were closed. The food was decent, nothing special. What bothered me was that people ignored the shower rules at the entrance and before the sauna. Towels seemed optional in the saunas even though they’re required, and people were taking photos everywhere without much regard for anyone else’s privacy.

This is about the Aqua Park. We left disappointed and wouldn’t go back. The entrance fee was high for the conditions, and the changing room was dirty. Staff at the entrance were rude, and inside you can’t pay by credit card, so you have to load cash onto your bracelet before you know what you’ll want to buy. The shops by the entrance, full of cheap plastic goods mostly made in China, also made for a poor first impression.

The setting was nice, but the water had a really awful smell, like urine. The food wasn’t great either. We’ve visited this place many times, and it seems to get worse with every visit. It’s sad, but we won’t be coming back. I hope they do something about it, because swimming in water that smells like urine just isn’t pleasant. 😢
