Pensiunea JOJO Imperial Resort&Spa

The food was very good, with lovely presentation and flavors. It could be easier to enjoy dinner if the dining hours were changed or extended, and that might make guests more satisfied. The rooms were fine, though they could use better service and quality. It’s a good place for a few days away from your routine.

My baby loved swimming in the indoor pool, which was baby-friendly and had the facilities he needed. We also tried the pool, indoor spa and a wonderful massage, all so relaxing. The staff were extremely professional and went well beyond what I expected. Our room was spotless, the food was delicious, and I chose to eat at the hotel each day so I could try more of the menu. We loved every minute and will definitely return. I’d recommend it to friends and family.

The center of the resort is about a 10-minute walk away. The hotel itself is in a lovely, quiet spot, with thermal-water pools both indoors and outdoors. Our room was clean and comfortable, breakfast was good, and there’s parking in front.

After driving 300 km, we arrived to find that the hotel said we had no reservation, despite booking five days earlier. They later discovered a system error had deleted bookings made that day. Our paper reservation was still there, but nobody had entered it back into the system, and they had given the freed-up rooms to other guests. Their other location was full, so we had to drive all the way home. The receptionist and her boss only said they were sorry and couldn’t do anything else. We’re sorry too that we expected the professionalism that should come with a five-star rating.
