We only stopped by the restaurant for a meal, and the river view from the terrace was nice. The food tasted good apart from the mashed potatoes, which, unbelievably, weren't made with real potatoes. It was neither a bad visit nor a great one.

We came in for a quick lunch and dessert, but waited nearly an hour for our pizza. The server was pleasant and apologized, saying it was crowded, though only about 4 or 5 of more than 30 tables were occupied. The pizzas were badly burned underneath, way past lightly crisp. After waiting that long, we tried eating the toppings and ingredients that hadn't been caught up in what seemed like a kitchen fire. If we'd gotten them sooner, we'd have sent them straight back. I hope this was a one-off, but I probably won't return.

We spent 10 days there on vacation, including therapeutic treatments for retirees. They wouldn't give us a receipt for the city tax paid at reception and offered no explanation. The manager generally yelled at people who raised complaints. A plastic hanger broke during our stay, and they charged us 1 euro (5RON) for it, again without giving a receipt even though we asked for one. One day the chicken served at the hotel smelled spoiled. They didn't apologize or replace the food. The prescribed treatments also ignored dietary restrictions. For example, they recommended water from a salty source to a family member who needs to avoid salt because of kidney problems. Never going back.

The staff were nice, but the pizza took close to an hour and arrived burned. Maybe that's unusual, but the long wait and bad food made it a poor experience for me.
