Hotel Ski & Sky

The staff were very friendly and helpful. We stayed two nights in a small apartment for three of us, with three rooms but only one door, so a bit more privacy might be worth considering. Everything else was perfect.

A very nice hotel, around a 10-minute walk from the ski slope.

The restaurant was awful. The food was poor and seemed to use very low-quality ingredients. Even the eggs looked like they came from chickens that had never seen daylight. There was only one waiter, who seemed to take orders, clear tables, cook, and handle everything else. Our order took 40 minutes, then another 40 minutes to reach the table, for just some fries and soup. The desserts had been reheated, and the vanilla sauce looked disgusting. At check-in, there was no parking available, so we had to leave the car 250m from the hotel and carry our luggage. An old, grumpy security guard handled both check-in and checkout. The rooms were just okay if all you need is somewhere to sleep before heading straight out, but they weren't very comfortable. We left a day early. The next day they called asking us to pay a parking tax of 10 Lei/day, even though we hadn't parked in their lot. Four stars? It seems to be four stars only on paper because it meets the minimum requirements. I'd rate it two stars at most. There was no quality to speak of, and I wouldn't stay here again.

Our family suite was incredible, and the workers were so kind. The balcony had a beautiful view.
