The valley view and forest setting make this a lovely spot, and inside it feels calm, cozy and full of character, with plants, authentic decorations and even a fish pond. The service was great, too. There’s a wide choice on the menu. Meat eaters can pick from deer, rabbit, beef, pork, wild boar, pheasant, turkey and chicken, with generous, tasty portions. I especially liked the potato gratin with wild boar, the best I’ve tried. There are fish dishes as well, plus excellent desserts. I’d recommend the coffee lava cake and homemade ice cream. Drinks include local liquors and beers, and vegetarians and pescatarians have good options too. It’s a hidden gem I’d recommend to anyone, and especially to meat lovers.
