The outdoor kitchen and dining spot overlooking the delta was a real highlight, and the bedrooms were lovely and comfortable. We spent a superb week at Casa Lac de Verde as a group of seven English birdwatchers. Stefan and Flori were incredibly friendly and helpful, and Stefan arranged two boat trips from the village into the delta. The birdlife was amazing. I’d definitely recommend it as a base for exploring the area’s wildlife by boat or car.

The owners are lovely, and their homemade food is first class. For a taste of authentic Danube Delta cooking, ask them to prepare fish. Don’t miss it. Just fish!

The food was authentic, and the view across the Danube Delta was amazing. With fantastic hosts and a great location, the whole experience was wonderful. They really show what agrotourism can be.

The homemade breakfast and dinner were amazing, and the owners were even more impressive. This is one of the best places I’ve ever stayed. I can’t recommend it enough!
