After we’d left and were hiking down Bazna the next day, the owner drove over to say hello in person. He’d already been friendly and welcoming on the phone, explaining the check-in clearly. Our room was spacious and spotless, with a comfortable bed, and the price was very good for what we got. I’d recommend breakfast at the hotel next door.

Casa Sasului is right on the Via Transilvanica, which made it a perfect stop on my autumn hike. I felt rested and ready to keep going the next day. The room was warm and cozy, the bed comfortable, and the dining room spacious and well equipped. Everyone was so friendly and attentive, and the owners really make you feel at home. If hospitality matters to you when looking for a place in Bazna, this is a great choice. Mulțumesc!

The shared kitchen is roomy and well equipped, and there’s parking on site. Our host gave us a warm welcome, too. Casa Sasului is good value for money, and being close to the Bazna swimming pools is a real plus. A comfortable option for a stay in Bazna.

Razvan was such a friendly, accommodating host. The rooms are clean and lovely, and cost less than most options in Bazna. The location works well if you’re going to the pools or want to walk in the woods, which are literally in the backyard. Highly recommend!

The host was friendly and helpful, even offering to pick me up from Mediaș since I was coming by train. Rooms are clean and spacious, there’s cable TV with plenty of channels, and the internet was decent. The shared kitchen and dining room are big enough to cook and eat in, which is useful since there aren’t many restaurants nearby. There’s also a large terrace and a few cozy cats. Sound insulation is poor, though. I could hear the neighbors whispering, and I’m half deaf. The hills and forests must be lovely in spring, summer, or late autumn. I visited at the grey, snowless end of winter, but still enjoyed a good walk. Longer stays get discounts. I never spotted the famous Bazna pigs, but maybe I ate some! 😁
