We weren't allowed to stay because we had a small dog, even though the page says animals are allowed. I felt discriminated against. I wouldn't recommend this place.

Rafaela Residance made for a wonderful stay, and the owners deserve five stars too. This small, cosy, fully equipped apartment is in a historic building right in the center of Bistrita. Inside, the courtyard is elegant and quiet, with a few gorgeous kittens nearby. It felt perfectly in tune with the beauty of this Transylvanian city. I recommend it with complete confidence. Thank you, Rafaela Residance!

A warm, comfortable studio in a central location, with hot water. The host was welcoming too.
