Hotel Roman Maramures

I was extremely disappointed during my stay this weekend. The room was tiny for such a high price, and the heating didn't work, so it was uncomfortable. The spa water was cold too, which isn't acceptable at this price level. Breakfast wasn't included, despite the expensive room rate, and the dinner we had there was poor quality and not worth the money. The prices don't match the quality or service. I wouldn't recommend this hotel.

#FANROMAN A great place to stay and relax at the spa in Borsa. Good food and great service. There's an EV DC charge station about 100 m away.

We felt welcome as soon as we arrived at Roman Hotel, and everything went smoothly. Our room was spotless each day, with the cleaning and upkeep handled with care, right down to the little details. The on-site restaurant had a great range of tasty dishes and good service. We looked forward to each meal, and the atmosphere throughout the hotel added to our stay. A relaxing, high-quality getaway, and we're already hoping to return.

I booked four days ahead and expected an easy check-in, but didn't get into my room until after 5 pm, even though the usual check-in time is 2 pm. I understand that tourist season and busy room turnover can cause delays, but housekeeping had from the 11 am checkout to get the room ready, and the process seemed badly managed. Staff offered little communication or help while I waited, and the whole thing felt chaotic and unprofessional. The operation didn't live up to what I'd expect of a supposed four-star hotel. It was a frustrating start when all I wanted was to settle in and relax.
