Poet Palace Bucharest

Everything in the room was just as advertised, clean, comfortable, and with all the amenities I expected. What surprised me was how warmly I was welcomed. In 40 years of travelling, I’ve never had a receptionist go so far out of their way for me. When I come back, and I will, I’ll stay here again. That’s the best recommendation I can give.

I was very happy with my stay at poet palace. The rooms are clean and really comfy, and they provide slippers, towels, and shampoo. There’s also A/C, a coffee machine, an iron, a hair dryer, a fridge, and Wi-Fi. The staff deserve a mention too, they’re polite and helpful.

We had a really enjoyable stay. The lady kindly gave us a larger room, which was nice. I only wish the pillows were bigger.

I stayed five days and they cleaned the room just once. The reception also isn't staffed around the clock, so you have to call someone. Breakfast doesn't start until 9 and is pretty basic. For a business traveler, the internet speed is a real problem. The rooms are small, and this feels more like a place to rent a bed than a proper hotel. I wouldn't choose it again.
