Regal

On my first visit, I thought the price for the service was 10 plus. The reception staff were very, very nice, breakfast was included and fresh, and the coffee was perfect. It's right in the centre, with nice terraces and bars around, plus a restaurant in the hotel and two coffee machines. Bolt and Uber are active in town, and there are ATMs everywhere. Room 204 had a nice view, was big and clean-ish, but had no Wi-Fi signal. The rooms are a little old, though for the price I've seen worse, even at more expensive places with similar quality and bad service. The Danube is close. Room 106 was very small, with no view and one small bed. The bathroom needed renovation, and the room was old with no renovations at all, though the internet connection was good. I eventually switched to 204. Update: I've come back for a second time, and this is my last. The Booking pictures are totally fake. The hotel is old-ish and now not properly clean. They didn't want to give me the AC remote for heating at first, saying I should sleep covered, though eventually they did. The room hadn't been cleaned properly, with a woman's hair everywhere and a fridge that had apparently never been cleaned. The drains stank, so I had to cover them to keep the smell out of the room. There were spiders in the bathroom, no shower door, hair on the bed linen, and the room hadn't been vacuumed. I don't know if all the hotels in Braila are like this, maybe they are.
