Chic City Rooms

Being directly opposite the train station was handy, and the room was clean and warm with hot water available the whole time. The receptionist was so friendly. She was there when we left at 5 a.m. to take the key back, and even sold us refreshments and some really great muffins for breakfast.

The room itself was quite nice, and the receptionist kindly let us keep our things in the fridge and freezer. The area beside the train station wasn't great, though, and there was a damp smell in the bathroom.

We arrived late at night, with other places either shut or fully booked, and the hosts still found us a room. The sheets, towels, and bathroom were clean, and the price was fair. It's a good spot for an overnight stay. The room did smell a bit of old furniture, and it was colder than comfortable at night, though we had checked in late.

It's fine for somewhere to spend one night, but the taxi rank nearby is really noisy and there's no air conditioning. The nearest shop is a three minute walk away, while the city centre and local market are about ten minutes on foot.
