Casa Elia

We came by train from Bucharest to Zărnești, then took a cab to the accommodation. Bran Castle is about an hour away on foot, with a mountain hike along the way. There are other places to see if you're staying longer, too. The house is perfectly placed for a quiet break. Our room was small but clean and looked good, and the meals were great. We left with farm eggs and some homemade Visinata, which was absolutely delicious. We had a 10/10 experience and would highly recommend it.

We rented the house for five couples to relax and catch up, and had an amazing time. It's spacious, has everything we needed, and the kitchen was stocked with all sorts of useful little things, from toothpicks to foil. There are two fridges in the kitchen, and the downstairs one had lots of handy bits for making cocktails. We also made good use of the barbecue and oven. The grounds are quiet, private, and relaxing. There was a slide and swings to keep the only child in our group, a two-year-old, entertained. Each bedroom has its own bathroom with a shower and toilet, and the windows have mosquito nets. The hot tub had some technical trouble the week before our stay, but Vlad helped make sure we could still use it. We really enjoyed ourselves and recommend the house for groups who want to spend time together eating and talking. Excellent experience!

I rented the villa at the end of October 2024 for myself and some friends. Everything exceeded our expectations, from the clean rooms and great amenities to the barbecue area and secure parking. Vlad was friendly and quick to respond. The place is spacious and very quiet, and Dracula’s Castle is about 15 minutes away by car. Everything was 10/10. Thanks, Vlad, for everything. I'll definitely be back and recommend it to everyone.

Update 09.10.2023: I came back with a group of coworkers for a short getaway, and it went just as expected. Our hosts had arranged food and activities, the rooms were clean, and the service was top-notch. The trip was a great success. The food and location are both great. It's close to some nice places to visit while sitting outside the busiest area. The hosts and the service they provide were the best part. Wishing you all the best, we'll definitely return!
