We woke up to a breathtaking view of Bran Castle right from the property. It felt almost unreal. Casa Krista was spotless, comfortable, and thoughtfully set up, with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The hosts were warm, kind, and ready to help whenever we needed anything. They made us feel at home from the start. We left very happy with our choice. For a peaceful stay, lovely hosts, and that magical view, we’d gladly return anytime.

We arrived after dark without a reservation, and the hosts welcomed us warmly. The room was clean, comfortable, and quiet, and the price was very low for its quality. It’s a great value, right in Bran Castle’s shadow. The entrance is on the other side of the castle, but it’s still an easy walk of about 10 minutes. Most rooms involve climbing a few flights of stairs, though it wasn’t too much. The room wasn’t designer chic. Watch out for a half step in the upper hallway, which tripped me up rather dramatically. That was my fault for not paying attention. We’re glad we stayed.
The location is perfect for getting around, and the view is great. I know the accommodation business, and this operator has the details dialed in, from cleanliness and the windows and doors to the fit and finish. Not one complaint. Thanks as well for the very good English, which helped with our limited Romanian.
We’ve been here twice, and I’ll surely come back soon. The host is exceptionally cordial, and the hotel is right next to the castle. Rooms are clean, the bed is comfortable, and parking is available, which is a big bonus. There’s a lovely terrace outside the hall and a full kitchen if you want to cook. Highly recommended!
