We hadn't booked anywhere and ended up here by chance. The host gave us the warmest welcome, and when we asked about a room, she immediately went to see if one was free. We got the last room, which turned out to be perfect, with a view of the castle. Everything was spotless. 20/10.

We come back at least once every year for a relaxing break, which probably says it all. It’s quiet, clean, warm and friendly, without being fancy. A good spot for meeting friends, grilling and having a nice chat. The owners are welcoming but give you space. Bran Castle and the restaurants are within walking distance.

The view from the window includes Dracula’s castle, and the hosts are friendly. Transilvania Lodge is cozy and clean, and each year we come back we notice something new. The owners really look after the place. We love staying here.

You can see the castle from the balcony, and it’s only about a ten minute walk away. Restaurants are also easy to reach on foot, with plenty within ten minutes. The owners speak English, and let us leave our car on the property while we walked to Bran Castle and back. Inside, the lodge was neat and very clean. There’s a dining area and a small kitchen, which came in handy, as well as a ping pong table and an outdoor house where you can hang out. I spent one night here and had a great stay. I’d choose it over a hotel.

The ping pong room is in a separate building, with a barbecue area that looks like a chimney nook. From there and from my room, I got great pictures of Bran Castle, also called Dracula's Castle. A perfect location for spending time with friends.
