Transylvania Mountain Chalet

The chalet was peaceful and comfortable, and coming back each evening felt like returning to our own retreat. The bedrooms were great, and the shared spaces brought our group together. The children loved the jacuzzi, while the adults relaxed in the hot tub under the sky after a day on the slopes. We had a BBQ in the outdoor kitchen one night, then cooked Chateaubriand in the pizza oven another evening. Those little experiences made the trip feel special. We were a group of eight, staying after three days in Bucharest, and the chalet exceeded our expectations. It looked even better than the photos, was beautifully kept, and had everything we needed. Travelling with two children can be hard, but this stay felt effortless. John was attentive and thoughtful the whole time. When it was our daughter’s birthday, he went out of his way to find a cake and help make it a moment she’ll remember. The location worked perfectly for us. We spent a day snowboarding in Poiana Brașov, explored Brașov, and visited Bran Castle. This was one of the best holidays we’ve had. The chalet, location, and John’s hospitality made it unforgettable. We’d return in a heartbeat. Highly recommended.

The hosts' patience, clear explanations, and constant availability made us feel both welcome and looked after. The whole place was spotless, which gave it a comfortable, well cared for feel. There’s loads to do: a spacious gazebo, billiards, ping pong, a bar, and a big collection of games. It’s set up for both pets and kids, with a modern jacuzzi, a well maintained sauna, and a large green area for relaxing. Transylvania Mountain Chalet is solidly built, with refined finishes and thoughtful design details. We were impressed by the facilities, the cleanliness, the quality of the construction, and the kindness of the hosts. It was a fantastic stay that went well beyond what we expected, and I wholeheartedly recommend it as an example of high quality tourism in Romania.

John gave us such a warm welcome and was always available to help. He explained everything clearly and offered more service than we expected. The place was perfect for us, with plenty of space, lots of activities and different areas to sit. The kitchen and living room are both big, and there’s attention to detail throughout, from the piano and billiard table to the outdoor kitchen. Everything was clean. I’d rate it 10/10, no exaggeration, and would book again next summer without a second thought.

We went as a group of nine for a teambuilding, and the place worked perfectly for everyone. There was plenty of room, and it was beautiful inside and out. Everything was clean and well arranged, with toiletries and all we needed in the room for a comfortable stay. The hosts were really kind and helpful. We recommend it 100%. ✨🤍
