The pool and vegetable garden make it feel like you’re well away from the city, and there’s also a pond. The toilets and showers were clean, the owner was friendly, and the owner runs a bar and restaurant. It’s a beautiful campsite on a hill with a view of the city. Getting in means tackling a very steep hill. There were plenty of campers, though, so it shouldn’t be a problem. The price is a little high: €25 euro for one person and a car for a night. I didn’t use the pool or electricity, so after I spoke with the owner I paid €20,-. Still, I thought it was worth every penny. The showers only have curtains and no locks, so bring a waterproof shopping bag to keep your clothes dry.

After several hot days camping and riding motorbikes on flat roads, arriving at Adam's place was a relief. I had a cold beer, swam in the pool, enjoyed a BBQ, then spent a quiet night in the little cabin. It’s simple, but everything was nice and great value for the money.

The owner was so welcoming and helpful, and the place has a lovely, friendly feel. The little kids had a great time with the trampoline and other toys. Getting up the hill to reach the site was a bit difficult for us, though we managed it. The toilets could also have been cleaner.

We had a mechanical issue with our campervan, and the owner went out of his way to help, finding a mechanic for us and arranging an apartment in town. He speaks German and English, so communication was easy. The site has all the facilities we needed, including power, water, grey water disposal, toilets, showers, a pool, WiFi, and a place to cook and spend time together. We were in a camper, and the ground was level with only a barely noticeable slope. It’s a quiet spot, and you can walk to the city centre in 15 minutes. Recommended.
