For the price, this was a very good option. It's an older building, suited to couples or solo travelers, and the old town is about a five-minute walk away. Parking was easy on the street, and there was space inside for four cars. There's no elevator. The staff were helpful and attentive.

The staff were warm, polite, and helpful, and I'd come back. Rooms on the ground and first floors can be very noisy if you have unlucky neighbors: the walls are thin enough to hear voices, footsteps, and especially the toilet or shower. The top room, though, is huge, with room for five people to sleep easily, lots of space, a great view, and a pleasant balcony or terrace. The prices are extremely good.

We stayed just one night. The room and bathroom were clean, and we could use the kitchen and bar for tea or coffee. The host was nice, and it's near the city center. Parking on the one-way street was difficult, so we brought the car into the courtyard; it's best to call ahead if you want to park inside. The hall smelled of mold, mainly around the wooden stairs, though the place itself was quiet. I recommend it, and Bistro de l'arte restaurant is suggested for breakfast or dinner.

We stayed in the first-floor studio, which felt cozy and was nicely decorated. Andrei and Gabi were excellent hosts, and you can tell they put a lot of care into the rooms and studios. I'd happily stay again.
