Casa Roth Apartments

I went in with doubts because the price was so much lower than other places in central Brașov. It was my birthday, though, so I figured I’d take the chance. Check-in was easy: I got a WhatsApp link for online check-in and another with the access details. We never met the hosts, but there was trust on both sides. I chose the ground-floor 1 Crai apartment. It had a bedroom, bathroom, a hall with a sofa, and a kitchen with everything needed. The place was warm, clean, and quiet, even with the windows facing the street. I’d worried about being cold and ended up sleeping naked. It was incredibly good, and I had nothing missing. The Old Center is close, about 50 meters down a little street behind the Black Church. I parked on the street parallel to the property, then after 5:00 PM spaces opened up right outside the house. Definitely worth considering for a visit to Brașov. Congratulations to the hosts, you have my respect. Everything the woman who wrote the previous review said is completely true, so there’s no point repeating it. I could live here my whole life, nothing is missing. A perfect 10.

I was really disappointed with the Postăvarul - Suita. The photos don’t match what you find there, and the room felt old and unclean. The floor squeaked terribly, the fridge was dirty, and the toilet seat was broken. The bathroom design lets water spread across the floor after every shower. For the price, it wasn’t worth it.

My girlfriend had to clean the dirty fridge, which was so small it couldn’t even fit a 2L water bottle. The hallway smelled like cat urine, the walls were stained, and the bed creaked. Neighbors woke me at 6 am, and the windows had bars. It felt like jail. Half the property photos had nothing to do with the actual conditions. The worst booking ever.

We found the price surprisingly reasonable for the location and the service and amenities. The apartment was spacious, clean, and well equipped, with what we needed to feel comfortable. It’s on a beautiful narrow alley, just 50 meters from the Black Church. I’d happily recommend staying here.
