The hostel's facilities may fall short of what you'd expect compared with places in Western Europe, though that doesn't mean they're bad. What made the stay special was Angi, the receptionist. She was the kindest person I've met on my long trip through Europe. If you're heading to Braşov, look up Hostel Mara and Angi. I'm sure she'll welcome you warmly and tell you where to go in Braşov. If you're Korean and planning a trip to Braşov, try this hostel. The owner is so kind and sincere, I was in a great mood throughout my two-night, three-day stay.

Everything you need is within walking distance, since this wooden house is right in the old town center. The hosts are welcoming, friendly, and thoughtful. Flowers on the balcony and windows give the place a lovely, relaxing feel. A great pick for backpackers.

Angie, the owner, is the kindest, loveliest woman in the city. The hostel is super clean, with comfortable beds in big bedrooms, and the location is excellent. Best hostel in Brasov.

Such a kind host, who explained everything we wanted to know. The place is very nice and just two minutes from the black church and the town center.
