Atria Hotel

We had a great stay at Hotel Atria with a large group for a friend’s wedding. The staff were lovely and accommodating, and the rooms were well equipped with very comfortable beds. Breakfast was the best I’d had in six weeks in Europe. We were right in the main town centre, in the old town square, close to bars, restaurants and shops, but still in a quiet corner. Great value for money, and I’d happily come back. Highly recommend for groups or solo stays in Brașov.

We stayed three nights on different weeks, and the hotel was extremely clean and quiet throughout. There was no traffic or people noise, so we had perfect nights. The service was above perfect, and breakfast was among the best we’ve had anywhere. Downtown, the location is ideal, with restaurants only seconds away on foot. The Black Church is a 3 min walk, and shops, currency exchange offices, a watch repair shop, and a city grocery store are within two minutes. The attractive prices bring people in, and I’ll definitely return.

On the second night we found lots of hair on the bedsheets, clearly not ours. We had to ask for fresh sheets and put them on ourselves. There were also about 4 flies in the room that hadn’t been there when we left that morning, which was very odd. We had several bad interactions with one receptionist. When I asked if there was anything else we needed to know, like where or when breakfast was and the WiFi password, he just said, “No.” Then we found the safe in our ground floor room was stuck shut. He stared at us for about 10 seconds before saying “OK,” then said he’d report it. Nothing had been done by the next day. When we asked again about repair or a replacement, he deflected, saying neither could happen. We spent the whole stay without a safe, and the window could open fully. Clearly a new hotel with growing pains. The central location was the only decent part, and I don’t recommend staying here.

The breakfast spread was one of the most elaborate and impressive we’ve come across in all our travels. There were fresh local specialties and international classics, something for every taste, and the food was beautifully presented and constantly replenished. It set each day off well. We stayed at Hotel Atria during our wedding trip to Romania, and the hotel became an unforgettable part of those memories. Its location in the heart of Brasov made it easy to get everywhere while still feeling peaceful and exclusive. The hotel has a lovely balance of modern comfort and welcoming warmth, with stylish, thoughtfully designed interiors. We felt at home as soon as we arrived. The staff were especially kind, attentive, and helpful during such an important occasion. They went above and beyond and made the stay seamless and stress-free. We left grateful for the care and comfort, and would wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone visiting, whether for a special occasion or just to explore.
