Main Square Apartments & More

The location is great, but for the price the apartment was very disappointing. The rooms were dirty, the floor creaked loudly underfoot, and we could hear someone showering in the neighboring apartment. The bathroom door lock was broken, so it wouldn’t close.

The view was the only great part of apartment no. 2. If you’re considering booking through Booking.com, be aware that the listing doesn’t match what you get. There was no stove, the bathroom floor was dirty, and the beds were extremely worn. The microwave was filthy and smelled so bad we couldn’t cook anything. The shower pipe was bent, and the soap and shower gel looked as though they’d been used by generations of guests. Bringing our own towels was the best decision. Good luck if you decide to stay here.

The apartment sits right across from the main square, which I think is the best spot for tourists. I booked the family suite even though I was traveling alone, and it mostly felt like one large room, so it would suit a solo traveler or a couple. There was a sink, microwave, kettle, and coffee maker, though it seemed odd to provide the machine without any coffee. A small market next door had what I needed. The bathroom had a slight smell, but otherwise I had a good stay and would come back.

The bathroom was filthy and covered in mold, as if it hadn’t been cleaned in at least ten years. The mattress was awful for such an expensive bed, and there were more rules than in prison. Walk a bit too loudly at 10 pm and you’re charged 100€. I don’t recommend it.
