Pensiunea Memo

The rooms and restaurant both left a bad impression. The hotel itself was just okay, but the blankets were visibly dirty inside, and I doubt they get washed often. At the restaurant, much of the food seemed refrigerated and reheated in a microwave, and it was awful. The staff and building administration were unfriendly, and I could hear them swearing in the kitchen. I really urge people to stay away. I’d give it 0/5 if I could.

The ribs are a house favorite, so give those a try. The food was amazing, and the staff were really friendly. Great location, too, with a nice atmosphere.

We were left outside the hotel late at night because the doors were locked. The receptionist hadn’t warned us this would happen, and after calling the number posted on the door, we stood in the street for 10 minutes before someone answered and let us in. At checkout, there was nobody at reception. When we went to the restaurant to hand over the key, the staff yelled that we should have gone behind the reception desk and not bothered them. The receptionist had also been rude when we checked in. The room was okay, but there was no air conditioning and the bathroom was dirty, especially the toilet. Awful experience. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

The rooms are spacious and clean. The bus stop is about 50 meters or less from the Pensiune, and it takes around five minutes by bus to reach the city center, or 15-20 minutes on foot.
