Residence Hirscher

The location in Brasov is hard to beat, and the welcoming feel adds a lot to the stay. Our room was cozy, the bedding plush, and the meals were tasty. Residence Hirscher has a nice mix of comfort and charm, and I'd happily recommend it to travelers exploring the city.

The staff were really friendly, and the room was huge and had everything, including a minibar and an enormous shower. The heated towel rails worked better than the air conditioning. It all felt amazing, like at least a 4 star hotel, and I'd recommend it to anyone. Parking is the one downside. In a busy city it takes some managing, but you can find a spot somewhere nearby.

We booked two rooms for three nights. Both were clean and the service was friendly, with a good location too. The room on the third floor was quiet, but we took a star off because the second floor room facing the aula and reception had pretty poor soundproofing. We only had breakfast at the hotel once, since cafes and restaurants are close by.

We arrived in the early hours after five days of travel, and the staff welcomed us warmly and gave us much-needed food. They were helpful throughout and the service was stellar. We were staying after escaping Ukraine, and we're incredibly grateful for how the hotel staff supported us in such a difficult time. We can't thank them enough. The hotel is in a beautiful setting and has the amenities you'd expect from a 5-star place. My friends and family have all been told to stay here if they visit Brasov. I'll also be back whenever I visit one of Romania's most beautiful cities. Thank you again for all your support. We hope to see you soon.
