Saint John's 22 Brasov

We’d stayed here before the pandemic and liked it so much that we returned afterward. Sadly, it isn’t as good now. The new front doors to the rooms let in a lot of light, which takes away from the feeling of privacy. It was 11 degrees outside, and since you can’t control the heating yourself, we had to contact the owner to turn it on. The shower water was only lukewarm too. It was disappointing to see them cutting such basic corners.

The owner at St John's Apartments went far beyond what we expected when I realized, two hours after driving to Bucharest, that I’d left something in the apartment. I texted to ask if I could pay him to mail it to Canada, but he found a better solution. That same evening he spoke with a local bus driver heading to Bucharest, handed over the parcel, and gave me the driver’s details and phone number. I got it within the next few hours. It was quick thinking, and I’m so grateful. That kind of hospitality says a lot about the place. We loved our stay in the lovely, spacious apartment, right in the heart of the old town in Braşov. The bed was comfy, it was sparkling clean, and the location was great. It was one of our favorite places in all our two weeks in Romania. We highly recommend St John's Apartments. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Mary and her husband made our time in BRASOV a real highlight of the holiday. The food was excellent, and their hospitality made us so happy we got to visit. Mick, the kids and I hope to come back next year. Wishing you all the best, and thanks again for such an amazing time. 😘😘❤❤ xx

A quiet, clean place with everything fully equipped and renovated. It worked perfectly for our family of four. Biserica Neagra is 7 minutes away and Poiana Brasov is 20 minutes away, so it really has everything in one spot.
