Breaza Comfort Apartment

There were some real positives: the apartment is centrally located in Breaza, the area is quiet and bright, the bed and sofa are comfortable, and it has fast internet and its own central heating. The living room TV is large, though the screen was rather dirty. It looks like it was furnished nicely at one point, but has gone downhill somewhat. The cleanliness was a serious letdown. The floors felt sticky, there were cobwebs in the corners, dusty cupboard shelves, and dirty, empty bottles left in the cupboards. The fridge hadn't been cleaned or dusted in a long time, and there was what looked like blood leaking in the freezer. The coffee maker and toaster were clogged, and long hairs from previous guests were on the supposedly clean sheets and shower wall. There were other maintenance problems too: the old shower head sprayed everywhere, the radiators and shower soap dish were starting to rust, and the nearly broken bathroom shelves were in poor shape. The cheap fir slat furniture was stained and couldn't be cleaned because it wasn't varnished. Dusty plastic plants filled the living room corners. The bedroom TV had no antenna for watching programs, and the extension cord needed to turn it on didn't make contact properly. You also had to switch on the hallway light to get the bathroom light, which lit up the bedroom through the glass door. The bedroom is only about 9m2, with nowhere to put luggage except on the bed. The building's access stairs smelled bad, and neighbors left their slippers outside their door. At 200 Ron a night, maybe this would have been acceptable, but the owner wanted 700 Ron a night over New Year's Eve. If I'd seen the apartment first, I definitely wouldn't have paid that price.
