Bliss Residence - Velvet

They've done a good job restoring the building and opening it up for guests. The inner courtyard is very nice, and it's a calm, quiet, clean place that met my expectations. There's no breakfast, but plenty of cafes within walking distance.

The self-check-in was easy, and the host was available online whenever needed. The place is new, recently renovated, clean, and well furnished. Our room had every comfort: a smart TV, drinking water each day, a coffee machine with capsules that made the best coffee I've had in Bucharest, and a kettle with tea, plus an iron and ironing board, bathrobes, and slippers. The bathroom was spacious and had a window in our room, and the mattress was very comfortable. The location was excellent, 15 minutes from the historic center and 7 minutes from the Università metro station, with bars and various amenities nearby. Highly recommended.

For what we paid, the room was beautiful and clean, with a comfortable mattress and a spacious bathroom. Breakfast was generous, and the staff were welcoming and kind. They gave us a code to enter the hotel and room, so we didn't have to arrive at a specific time. I'd visit again and highly recommend it.

I’d happily recommend this place. The apartment was clean and looked even better than the photos, and it was a nice touch to find sweets, tea, coffee and prosecco there. The area is easy to get around from, near the Metro and the old town. Really enjoyed the stay, a 10 out of 10.
