Worst villa stay I've had. The bathroom fixtures were in bad shape: the shower and sink drains didn't work properly, and the showerhead kept drooping on some of the showers. Upstairs, the air-conditioning wasn't working right, and there was just one remote for all the units. Electrical sockets were loose and hanging off the walls. There were no kitchen utensils or dishwasher, and after I washed my clothes in the washing machine, they smelled like nachos. George, the house boss, sat smoking in the stairway, which felt hypocritical given that smoking indoors is prohibited for everyone else.

Our apartment was well equipped, looked new or recently renovated, and came with a parking spot at the gate that fit our large van. We were six, two adults and four children, and felt we got good value, especially considering we booked late. The host was kind, explained a lot about touring, and stayed reachable on WhatsApp even at midnight. We had booked one place, but were asked to go to another as an “upgrade” only 40-50 minutes before arrival. The apartment was number 10 on the third floor at Strada Parfumului 23A, București, Romania. The neighborhood felt rather poor and scary, and the new-looking building really stood out from its surroundings.

The host was very friendly, but the villa itself was just okay. It didn't feel like a VIP villa at all. The interior was dated and not very clean, some rooms had a very bad smell, and even the bathroom sockets were hanging loose from the walls.

I had a nice stay here with friends, and would recommend it. The facilities are a bit older than they look in the photos, but overall it's a good place.

There was plenty of space, and the villa even had a jacuzzi. The old town, with all its bustle, was just a 10-minute walk away. Amazing place.
