The room was clean and spacious, with a pleasant view, good lighting, a microwave, and a comfortably warm shower. The shower itself is small, but that didn't bother me. The temperature in the room was comfortable, and I had no noise issues, though it may have been the off season. I used the stairs, so I can't comment on the elevator. The WiFi was fast enough for work, the host replied promptly, and booking through Whatsapp was easy. Check in and payment were straightforward, and I found reasonably priced paid parking right out front. There are plenty of good places to eat nearby. It's walkable, reasonably priced, and I can't think of a flaw.

The flat was clean and comfortable, and Pavel made sure we had what we needed. He was wonderful to deal with, very helpful and communicative, and always answered my questions. The location was very convenient too.

The owner was super helpful, and the price was good. The apartment is simple, with a kitchen but not much furniture. It's on the top floor and has a large balcony, so it feels airier than most hotels. It's also in an excellent spot for visiting central Bucharest.

Update: a year later, the owner replied that they hadn't accommodated us. He did. The accommodation was awful, dirty, outdated, and extremely overpriced. Before checkout he came to throw us out and opened the door with his key. After I left and gave it one star, he called and kept bothering me in anger. Please don't stay there. Even the bus station would be more comfortable than supporting these scammers.

We got back from a train trip at 23:30, and the host waited to open the main door and hand over the keys. The self-catering apartment was spotless, had the basic necessities, and the air conditioning worked well. It's about halfway between University and Piata Romana. We recommend it, since it's more affordable than a hotel. Thanks for everything.
