The ventilation was poor, and the bathroom fan was very dusty. We were also wrongly blamed for making noise one night, and the way it was dealt with didn't feel professional. The room was generally clean and the location was convenient for the center, but we found a stained towel when we arrived. They replaced it after we asked. We had been told beforehand that towels wouldn't be changed during the stay. The price was about like other places, but the experience didn't meet what we expected, I'm sorry.

I felt ill after just one day there. The place was very cold, and even after I told the owner I have a chronic illness, they didn't seem to care. I'm still coughing now. The actual place was very different from the photos. It was the worst house I've ever stayed in, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

There are plenty of places to eat on the main road, and the shower was hot, though it was poorly attached to the wall and leaked into the bathroom. The room's air conditioning unit sits right outside the window and was VERY loud. I think it needs servicing. This is a pretty do-it-yourself kind of stay. A room number and the hotel name on the gate would help, since the same code also opened a neighbor's gate. A tourist map in the room would be a nice touch.

The location is good and the rooms are okay, but the bathroom had a really strong sewage smell as soon as we walked in. Closing its door while we were out made things better when we came back, though the smell in there was still really, really strong. The sheets and covers were clean but so scratchy that they felt dirty. There wasn't even a chair in the room.

I came back for a second stay, once in 2018 and again in 2019, both times in a private single room, and was completely happy on each visit. The hostel was almost silent, just what I needed, and the bed in my comfortable room was especially good. The staff were friendly and helpful. I could easily walk to the grocery store, bank, bakeries, old town restaurants, and the museum. It was a perfect stay.
