Courtyard Bucharest Floreasca

I spent five nights here on a business trip. The hotel isn’t near the center, so it wouldn’t be my pick as a tourist, but most major company offices are within walking distance. My room was comfortable and spacious enough, with all the amenities working. The staff were consistently friendly. Breakfast had a good selection and quality, without an excessive number of options. I tried the restaurant’s soup and it was fine. There’s also a small shop for essentials, mostly useful in a pinch.

The free water in the room was a nice touch, and they topped it up whenever we needed. I was here for a few days on business, and everything went smoothly. Breakfast was excellent, and the staff were really friendly. I’ll be back.

Vlad at reception deserves special mention. He was kind, professional, and found the best possible solution when an issue came up with our company payment. His help made a real difference. It was my first visit to Bucharest, on a business trip. The hotel isn’t in the center, but it was just a 30-minute walk from our headquarters, so the location worked very well for us. The rooms were simply furnished but cozy, lovely, and fully equipped. Daily room service was excellent, and breakfast was tasty and well organized. Although Courtyard by Marriott Bucharest Floreasca is officially rated four stars, I’d give it five. A perfect stay, especially for business travelers.

I stayed four nights, from July 22 to 26, 2025 (reservation no. 78912067). I had more than 30 visible marks on my skin that appeared consistent with suspected bed bug bites. I reported this to the hotel and shared photos taken during the stay. A colleague traveling with me at the same time had a similar experience. Management said the marks might have come from mosquitoes, and that its internal investigation found no bed bugs. What disappointed me most was the response: there was no compensation or alternative solution, and I felt there was little consideration for the inconvenience. I also found the response lacking in empathy. Given the Marriott brand, I expected more accountability and care for guests. Based on my experience, I can’t recommend the hotel, and would strongly encourage future travelers to look at other Bucharest hotels in a similar price range.
