Management never sorted out the broken AC. I only got the usual automated messages, even though it was stuck showing an E7 error. The room itself was dirty: there was a nail in the closet, stains on the carpet, cigarette burns on the curtains, and dirt on the floor. The curtains also smelled of cigarettes, and the bathroom had a horrible urine and sewer odor. With no working AC to air the place out, the smell lingered. There were unfinished details everywhere, from paint tape left on a badly painted door to holes in the walls, a hanging electrical cable, and incomplete parts of the bathroom. The shower gel was even a counterfeit brand. The pictures don't match the place at all, and seem to be AI-generated or altered. The price was crazy too. The next time, I found something much better for a third of the cost.

My room was very clean, which was better than some other reviews I had read. Still, the loose carpet needs replacing, and the listing said there would be a shower when there was only a bathtub. The building is very old and run-down, with a tiny elevator that only works sometimes. You wouldn't expect that from the listing. It calls the place a hotel on Booking.com, but it's actually an apartment, and luggage storage wasn't available, which was why I had wanted a hotel. The photos don't accurately show the rooms and don't seem quite genuine. The host only sent automated messages with check-in codes and didn't answer questions.
The bed was super comfortable, and the place was spacious and clean. Great location, and the host gave clear self check-in instructions. Couldn't fault it, very happy.
The location was good, and the bedding looked clean. But this is apartments, not a hotel, and the curtains had stains all over them. The place could use some TLC. The entrance is run-down and needs better lighting because it feels intimidating. I didn't dare use the elevator.
The room itself was nice, clean, and cozy, but getting there felt unsettling. The building entrance looks strange in a bad way, and a little scary, with an odd smell. We took the very narrow spiral stairs to the fourth floor. The elevator looked scary and didn't work. Inside, we couldn't find the AC remote, and there was no toilet paper. The new room door rattles when a nearby room opens, as if it might come open, so it didn't feel secure. It also makes noise early in the morning when someone leaves. There's no hotel parking, so you have to park wherever you find a free spot. I'd give it 3.5 out of 5.
