After 20 nights here, this is still my favorite hotel in Bucharest, and I plan to keep coming back. I think the quality for the price is good. The room is a decent size and very clean, with very good housekeeping by Florența. The in-house restaurant serves excellent food and service. Angelo, Rodica, Ana, Alex, and the rest of the staff treated me with common sense. There are some shortcomings: no elevator yet, though one will be installed soon; no shoe brush or accessories; a poor minibar; no “do not disturb” sign for the door; and coffee machines aren't in every room. There was a bad smell sometimes, but it was solved. No breakfast, though I'm not an early bird.

A good hotel, but I ran into two drawbacks. Breakfast isn't available because the restaurant opens at 10:00 am, and there's no elevator even though the rooms are on the third floor.

The place was clean, but I was disappointed by the pizza when I went with the kids. It was burnt, with a thick crust and barely any toppings, just a lot of arugula that hurt your eyes. There was no tomato sauce or mozzarella, and only three thin slices of transparent ham. The prices were inflated, and waiters were just hanging around.

The hotel is welcoming and very nice, and the employees are pleasant. Nearby, though, the only shops are a Petrom gas station and a Mol gas station.
