Hotel Funnytime

I called ahead and was quoted 140 Romanian Lei (RON) for a night. When I arrived, they charged me 200 RON for a single room for one person. The toilet barely worked, and there were no towels or sheets. Photos attached clearly say prices start at 49 RON, which makes the charge even harder to understand. It felt like a rip-off. Outside the entrance were people who looked like bums and gangsters. I’m not sure that’s how a business should operate or charge. This is a 2 star “hotel” in an area that didn’t feel very accommodating, charging more than 4 star hotels in the city center. I’d rather sleep on the street than pay for what felt like the same thing. Never going back. 0/5 stars.

The room was average, but had what I needed for a week, and the staff were friendly. Good value overall. I’ve stayed twice, each time for a week. It’s near a hypermarket and taxi rank. There’s no lift, and I wish there were a coffee machine, other drinks, a bar or food.

The apartments were beautiful, modern and comfortable, with everything I needed and a perfect location. Prices were good too. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I loved my stay, more than five stars for me. I’d highly recommend it. Best hotel in town!

The beds are really comfortable, but the rooms aren’t very spacious. I usually come every March for karate competitions, and it’s cold then. We had to ask twice to get heat in the radiator, and it was still really cold. There was hair on the carpets, and the bathrooms weren’t great. Our bathroom didn’t even have a bath curtain. It’s an average hotel, fine for sleeping, but I wouldn’t stay more than a few days or spend free time there.
