Hotel Uranus

I paid 150RON for one night and got a room that smelled strongly like a toilet, with no AC or fan. The room and service were disgusting. When I asked to stay another night and requested a different room, since the price was the same for AC and non-AC rooms, they promised to move me and took my money. Later they said they couldn't because there was no room cleaner. Bullshit excuses. The cooperation was veryyyyyyy BAD, and I felt they were trying to scam international visitors. I would NEVER EVER recommend booking here. Decide for yourself if you still want to BOOK this hotel. Thanks. Best regards. Azad

The smell in the room was so awful that we left right away. There was mold on the mattress, and I can't imagine sleeping in that stench. It's near the train station, but that isn't worth it.

We stayed from 17 July to 20 July 2024. The pool was neat and clean, and I enjoyed a morning swim. There was a wide variety of very tasty food, and the room service and cleanliness were excellent, with A+ toilet provisions. The restaurant staff were helpful and obedient, the front desk was very nice, and they'd park the car on arrival and bring it back to the doorstep when we left for an outing. The environment was awesome, and the people were great. The only problem was the two-pin electricity plugs and sockets. All our appliances, mobile chargers, laptops, and so on had European three-pin plugs. It would help to have at least one European three-pin socket in each room near the bedside table, so guests can use it when they arrive, especially at night. They can make other arrangements the next day by buying a two/three-pin converter.

It was good value for Bucharest, though definitely not up to standard. I found a stain on my bedsheet, cleverly hidden behind a pillow, but those things don't scare me. We also didn't have enough basics: for a room for two, there was just one glass, and towels, toilet paper, and other things were short too.
