ibis Bucharest Politehnica

The constant noise in the rooms made it extremely hard to sleep. I don’t know whether it came from the HVAC or plumbing, but it seemed like a building-wide issue: even a room six floors below the one I started in was just as noisy. I asked the receptionist to move me straight away, and he was very kind and helpful in offering another room. The problem really needs to be fixed because it seriously harms the stay. I’d stayed here before and had a great experience, so this visit fell far short of what I’d expected. The room was clean and still quite good, though it showed some wear. It seemed noticeably different from the room I had last time, and I wonder if I’d been given a superior room then while paying for standard. If I’d known, I would have booked an upgrade this time.

My team had lunch at the hotel restaurant and found it tasty and reasonably priced, a good everyday option for people working in the nearby offices. The place felt warm and cozy, almost like our home studio.

I stayed for 20 days in September and October 2025, and I was very satisfied. The bed was comfortable, the breakfast was good, and the hotel is well located. My room was cleaned and the towels changed every day. Nicoleta, my maid, was lovely and did her job well. Anna Maria at reception was so pleasant and smiley. Her morning smile makes everyone’s day better. I’d love to return.

Breakfast was good, and I had a pleasant stay. The hotel was nice, with helpful, friendly staff. My room was comfortable and clean, and the linen was fresh.
