We stayed here for the 2019 International Festival George Enescu and found it a good fit for the event. The Atheneum concert hall is within walking distance, the price was good, and the hotel has the amenities we needed, including room AC and WiFi for a good night’s rest. It’s a modestly priced option that leaves more of your trip budget for exploring Bucharest. The hotel is only a few steps from Piata Romana subway station. At the time of our visit, the subway was the only time-efficient way to get around Bucharest. A casual walk toward the city center along Lascar Catargiu boulevard takes you past attractive embassy and international institution buildings. Alexandra, the hotel manager, was prompt with our requests by email and in person. Her small team of young women worked all day washing and ironing sheets in the basement laundry, and our sheets were changed every day. I’d happily recommend it for future festival editions.

A nice place with very kind people, though the rooms have very few extras.

The room was clean and nice, and the staff were really polite.
