Metropole Apartments Old City

I spent three nights here, and the insects made it unbearable. On the first night I found more than 20 cockroaches and other bugs around the room. I killed more insects during this stay than in my whole life. The bed and mattress had stains and looked as if they hadn't been changed after the previous guest. I was exhausted and had no other option, so I slept there. The next day I asked to change rooms or get a refund for the remaining nights. They apologized and said they would clean properly, so I went out into the city. When I returned, the mattress had been changed and the floor and bathroom cleaned, but there were still cockroaches and bugs, even more than before. I couldn't sleep, and it was too late to find somewhere else that night. I booked a new place for the following day and stayed awake all night. This was the worst place I've ever stayed. It was dirty, full of insects, and honestly not livable. I wouldn't recommend it at all.

I really liked the apartment and made some great memories there. The owner was very helpful, too. The hallway between the apartments felt a little unsettling and unwelcoming, and could use some attention to its appearance.

Right in the heart of Bucharest, with restaurants, shops, and a bus line easy to get to. The place was very clean, and I enjoyed my stay. I'd definitely recommend it.

I stayed in both apartment 47 and apartment 84. The second one had a balcony and a great view. Both were clean, with hotel quality and impeccable service, and they were cleaned every 3-4 days. They work well for longer stays, with air conditioning, a washing machine, and a kitchen. I wish I'd found this place sooner instead of wasting time on Airbnb.
